    How to Qualify

The short version: finish in the top 8 of an eligible bracket (mixed goes by gender), keep your DUPR within one level of that bracket, and accept your invitation. Tap any rule for the details.

A bracket runs at the Invitational only if it drew 20 or more unique players across the 2026 season, counting Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio together. 24 brackets clear that bar; see each one under Brackets.

Senior divisions do not carry Tour ranking points and are not part of the Invitational field.

The top 8 in each eligible bracket's final season standings earn a berth. It is earned on the board, not by one hot weekend.

Mixed doubles goes by gender. Mixed brackets with more than 100 players across the season take the top 8 men and the top 8 women; each picks a partner, for 16 teams. Smaller mixed brackets take the top 4 men and the top 4 women, for 8 teams.

Ties at the cutoff go to the player who played more stops. If they are still tied, the higher points from any single stop wins, then the higher DUPR.

Qualify in more than one bracket and you can play all of them.

On the day Invitational registration opens, your DUPR can be no more than one level above your bracket. A 2.5 bracket covers ratings up to 2.999, so a 2.5 qualifier stays eligible up to 3.499, the top of the 3.0 level. At 3.500 or higher the player has jumped two levels and gives up the berth.

Doubles and mixed brackets use doubles DUPR; singles brackets use singles DUPR. The same limit applies to your partner.

Berth holders choose their partner from the qualified list. If you pick another qualifier, their berth is used, and the next player on the standings moves up to fill the opening.

Invitations go out from the final season standings. If you can't play, let us know and the berth passes to the next player on the standings.

Any berth that goes unused passes down the standings: to 9th, then 10th, and so on. That happens when a qualifier is over the DUPR limit, is taken as another qualifier's partner, or turns the invitation down.

Every bracket runs a double elimination draw: 8 teams, or 16 in the mixed brackets with more than 100 players. One loss does not end your finale.
