    How to Qualify

The short version: finish in the top 8 of an eligible bracket (mixed goes by gender) and accept your invitation. Tap any rule for the details.

A bracket runs at the Invitational only if it drew 20 or more unique players across the 2026 season, counting Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio together. 24 brackets clear that bar; see each one under Brackets.

The top 8 in each eligible bracket's final season standings earn a berth. It is earned on the board, not by one hot weekend.

Mixed doubles goes by gender. Mixed brackets with more than 100 players across the season take the top 8 men and the top 8 women; each picks a partner, for 16 teams. Smaller mixed brackets take the top 4 men and the top 4 women, for 8 teams.

Ties at the cutoff go to the player who played more stops. If they are still tied, the higher points from any single stop wins, then the better point differential in that bracket (points won minus points lost across the season), then the higher DUPR.

Qualify in more than one bracket and you can play all of them.

    Doubles and mixed only.

    1. Pick from your bracket. Any player with ranked points in your bracket's 2026 standings, including another berth holder. In mixed, pick a player of the other gender from the same mixed level.
    2. Both players have to agree. Anyone can say no, with no penalty.
    3. Two berth holders can team up. That opens one spot, and it goes to the next player in line. In mixed, it goes to whichever of the next man or next woman has more season points.
    4. Confirm by the deadline. Have your partner confirmed by the date in your invitation. A berth holder without a confirmed partner by then gives up the spot, and the next player in line moves up.

Invitations go out from the final season standings. If you can't play, let us know and the berth passes to the next player on the standings.

Any berth that goes unused passes down the standings: to 9th, then 10th, and so on. That happens when two berth holders team up, a qualifier turns the invitation down, or a berth holder has no partner by the deadline.

Every bracket runs a double elimination draw: 8 teams, or 16 in the mixed brackets with more than 100 players. One loss does not end your finale.
